Vice President of Operations

Tom grew up in Long Island, New York where he graduated Hofstra University in June of 1977 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Following his marriage to Janice, Tom accepted a position within the Supply Chain Organization of IBM, working out of the Endicott, NY office, where he served in various staff and management roles, prior to his retirement in 2012. Tom earned an MBA in 1981 from the New York State University at Binghamton, with a dual concentration in Organizational Behavior and Finance. Tom has  served as Trustee and Deacon at his former home church in Vestal, NY, 

 

Tom visited Vietnam for the first time in 2016, as part of a Healing Hearts Vietnam team conducting a medical clinic in Hanoi. Experiencing the work of HHV and getting a first hand glimpse of the impact being delivered to the patients served stirred Tom's heart and helped set a new focus for his efforts. Shortly afterward, Tom agreed to take a lead role in the day to day operations of Healing Hearts Vietnam, leading to his current role as Vice President of Operations. 

 

In addition to his role with Healing Hearts Vietnam, Tom continues to serve as sole proprietor of a sales rep business, YourSource LLC, and he also works with and for AASuccess Inc. as Senior Advisor to the President and Supply Chain Director. 

 

Tom and Janice have 5 children and 17 grandchildren. They have recently relocated to Forest, Virginia. where they enjoy making new friends, while remaining in contact with long-time friends in NY.
