Six years ago Nguyen Thi Ca was born with a congenital heart disease, to a family of modest means, about 50km outside DaNang, Vietnam. The family was blessed to learn of the humanitarian mission of Healing Hearts Vietnam, where poor children of Vietnam are afforded access to life saving cardiac surgery, based on financial subsidy made possible by compassionate US donors and the cost effective medical services provided by our Vietnamese partner hospitals..
For this precious girl and her family, a $1000 subsidy bridged the gap between life and death. It is hard to imagine an investment paying a higher dividend.
